How does it work?
Rather than approaching the work from the perspective of it being something done to you, we will develop a plan that best meets your needs. What you bring will be unique to you, therefore it is important that we agree to together how we might proceed. Work might be short-term with a clear focus or it may need a longer commitment. After the introductory session and an agreed assessment period we will be clearer about this.
For Individual Psychotherapy (Adults)
We will meet for an initial assessment meeting and work from there. It is important that you find the therapist that is right for you so this session will help us work that out. Introductory and following weekly therapy sessions last 60mins and cost £60-£100 (on a sliding scale which we will discuss).
For Children and Young People's Psychotherapy
I usually meet with children and their parents/carers for an initial session then agree a way forward from there. Children's sessions last 60mins and cost £60-£100 (on a sliding scale which we will discuss).
For Couples work
After an initial assessment session, we will decide what's needed as ongoing work. Cost £100 per 90min session.
For Gestalt Therapy Groupwork
I co-run a fortnightly therapy group at EGI. Group therapy can be a great way to learn more about how we relate and where we might get stuck, fixed or struggle in relationship to others. It also offers good support through the relationships developed between members. Sessions run over 3hrs and costs are £45 per session over a 8-10 session term.

Gestalt based Supervision for all modalities
An introductory session will help us explore what you are looking for, how I work and what might be possible. I currently offer Supervision to practitioners from Gestalt and other modalities. I also offer professional support to staff from non-therapeutic backgrounds, in particular GP's and Social Work staff. Supervision costs £60-£80 (on a sliding scale which we will discuss).
Training/Assessment/Consultancy
I currently offer training in Gestalt Therapy, Trauma Work, therapeutic methods for non therapy staff, working therapeutically with children and young people. I have developed parenting packages and worked with foster carers and adoptive parents. I am open to exploring what you might be seeking and what we could develop as bespoke training to meet your needs. I am available for specialist assessment relating to therapeutic needs Cost for training, specific assessments or consultancy are negotiated as part of our exploratory process.
